Beauty Vlog Addiction

The good things about living in digital age is we can learn anything almost from everyone. Having a fondness about makeup is just not enough for me if I cannot apply them to my face. And I really want to do it properly.

Taking a full makeup class or professional makeup class can sometimes very pricey. So I started to learn from the YouTube channel. There are a lot of beauty vlogger out there to learn to. And many of them give a very useful know-what and how to apply make up. Each person have their own style of doing makeup. Like if I watch a vlogger from a westerners, they tend to be bold and dare to play with a wide range of colors. On the other hand, vlogger from Asian country include, me in Indonesia, has tendency to be more natural and use a more neutral colour. And I like to watch them all. Hihihihi…

For skin care, I really interested in korean skin care routine, so I tend to watch a vlog from korean (English speaker of course) vlogger.

If I can mention a specific channel that I watched nowadays, here are those channel :

  • Suhay Salim
  • Christen Dominique
  • Abel Cantika
  • Pony makeup
  • MakeUpByCamila2
  • Joan Kim
  • Jkissa

These are the channel that I subscribed to. I can watch it a whole day if I have spare time. Even sometimes when my husband is a sleep, I start to watch it again hehehehehee.

It seems so easy for them to get a nice and smooth result. And from that I know I still have to learn a looooot. At the same time they motivate me to be better.

A New Playground

09 February 2017. Although I am obsessed with order, this time I won’t talk about my past stories. Instead I will talk about all of the things that goes around me at the moment and going forward.

So, shall I begin?

First of all, I am a person who don’t have any particular fondness about something. I don’t have any hobbies. I’m not overly dislike nor overly obsessed with something (except order  i guess). Well, guess I’m just a boring person.

I always nag at Ragil, because of his hobbies, that according to myself are waste of money. He love gadgets and anything related to motorbike btw. Every time i always find his new “things”. Then i always question, what is it for? do you need it? you need a space to keep it, you have to tidying up your things babe, etc, etc, etc. Finally, I think he’s bored with all the nagging, and he doesn’t bring anything new to home for a while. But you know what, he keeps buy things, but now he doesn’t bring that home. He keeps it in his office -___-. Once, I know he’s already had those for a while, and when i found out he just wore his best silly smile so i didn’t get upset. And yes, he cannot keep me angry for a long time.

Shortly, i never know what it feels when you have a hobby. Things that you really like. And it can make you happy when you working on it. I think hobby is a luxurious thing to have. Until….., the pass year.

If you’ve read my introduction in the about page, i mentioned about my fondness of makeup. Yes… I really love make up. I love all the colors, i love to play with it, i like how it can turn your face more pretty, more perfect, hide your complexion and accentuate your already perfect face. It is a fun thing to play with.

I always have an interest in makeup actually. It started in my college time. But i don’t really buy many makeup. Only the basic. As a college student, I don’t have too much money to spend and makeup can be very expensive. So, makeup for me is just a tool to prepare myself in case i don’t have a chance to take a bath in the morning hahahahaa… cause by wearing powder and lip balm, i can look less crumpled.

My very first makeup is an eyeliner. I learnt to wear an eyeliner from my cousin. She wears it everyday and one day she put it on me. At that time i was fascinated by the look my face became when i applied an eyeliner. My eyes turned out to be bigger and it looked like the additional liner at the top of my eye line makes my eyes bolder. Like a painting with its frame. The eyeliner framed my eyes. From then I start adding eyeliner to my routine basic makeup.

I think that’s all for this time. There’s a lot I want to talk about. I don’t want it to be packed in 1 blog. So, let’s continue in another stories.
